Install Mycelia locally

Unzip the source handover and enter its mycelia directory. Use Node 24, npm, Python 3.12 with uv, Docker Desktop and the project’s pinned Supabase CLI. Model downloads are optional.

In another terminal, start the web preview:

npm exec --workspace @mycel/web -- next dev --hostname 127.0.0.1 --port 3200

The local inbox is at 127.0.0.1:54324. Sign in as the fictional Maya at maya@alder.example. Email authentication is a local substitute for ORCID sign-in.

Use your lab ID from the workspace. For local AI and folder watching, follow the root README and docs/local-runtime-notes.md; optional model assets and private sessions are excluded from the source ZIP.
